Key Responsibilities:

• Legal Excellence: Demonstrate exceptional legal research and writing skills.
• Document Preparation: Draft substantive pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other necessary legal documents.
• Litigation Management: Conduct depositions, examinations under oath, and handle cases from inception through trial.
• Client Representation: Negotiate on clients’ behalf at mediations and settlements.
• Risk Evaluation: Independently evaluate and identify potential exposure and risks associated with cases.
• Collaboration: Work closely with litigation adjusters, administrative personnel, and claims personnel to achieve identified goals.
• Technology Utilization: Fully and effectively utilize available technology.
• Administrative Tasks: Timely complete required litigation and administrative tasks, including staff management.
• Travel Requirements: Travel throughout the state as needed for business and marketing functions.
• Client Service: Enhance the firm’s reputation by providing exceptional client service and maintaining ethical standards.
• Time Management: Properly track and record time billed on claim-related tasks to meet assigned billable hour requirements.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in general liability law.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build and grow a team, acting as a mentor and fostering professional development.
